Job Title: Coordinator Lead

Job Summary

Liverpool City Council is seeking a highly skilled Coordinator Lead to join our IT Service Operations team. As a subject matter expert, you will provide advice, solutions, recommendations, and guidance across cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, business applications, and related functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, and business applications.
  • Review and analyze performance measures, target objectives, business plans, and KPIs to evaluate performance against benchmarks.
  • Design, develop, and implement ways to reduce costs, improve performance, and deliver high-quality service across IT.
  • Maintain IT infrastructure systems, including backups, patch management, and hot fixes.
  • Manage software lifecycles, including deployment, maintenance, and updates.
  • Provide mentoring to team members, create a knowledge and learning environment, and develop staff development programs.
  • Ensure network system security baselines are met and security improvements are implemented across LAN/WAN environments.
Requirements
  • Relevant formal qualifications in information technology or a suitable business-oriented degree.
  • Certifications in Microsoft technologies, ITIL, or ITSM.
  • Proven experience in creating and maintaining technical and operational documents.
  • Proven experience in IT infrastructure maintenance and software lifecycle management.
  • Proven experience in providing mentoring and staff development.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide expert advice and guidance.
