As a Senior Economist at CRU International Limited, you will be part of a team responsible for producing a global forecast and an economic story to support that view. We are seeking an experienced economist to lead our analysis of the US, Canadian and Mexican economies, with primary focus on the US.

This role involves shaping our forecast judgements, communicating your view to clients, prospects and colleagues throughout CRU, and closely monitoring data and economic developments. You will produce monthly forecasts for the region you cover, using the Oxford Economics Global Macro Model and your own knowledge and judgement.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong quantitative background in economics.
  • An organised approach to handling data and econometric modelling.
  • Previous experience of analysing or forecasting.
  • Knowledge of sustainability and the energy transition.

CRU offers a competitive salary of approximately $120,000 per annum, reflecting the importance of this role in supporting our business growth.
