CyberArk is seeking a skilled Assistant Accountant to join our EMEA Finance Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of payment runs, reconciling accounts payable, and preparing journal entries. You will also support the team with day-to-day accounting activities, including the preparation of management reporting packs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, with experience in accounts payable, expenses, and general accounting. You will be proficient in Excel and have excellent interpersonal skills. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about accounting, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation of payment runs for EMEA regions and reconcile accounts payable
  • Prepare posting and reconciliation of bank transactions
  • Post general journal entries
  • Assist with monthly cash flow management for EMEA
  • Assist with month-end close process, reconciling and confirming balances of AR, AP, and expenses with third parties and employees
  • Set up and maintain user profiles on our travel database, Egencia
  • Support EMEA Finance Team with day-to-day accounting activities
  • Support EMEA Finance Team in the preparation of management reporting packs
  • Ad hoc tasks as needed

Qualifications:

  • AAT qualification required
  • 2-3 years of working experience in a similar role
  • Background/experience of working for a multi-national firm in the UK an advantage
  • ERP experience in Netsuite (Oracle) an advantage
  • Proficiency in Excel skills
  • Experience in dealing with outsourced firms
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Hardworking and flexible with the ability to work under pressure
  • Attention to detail, ability to juggle multiple tasks, and work under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently as well as being a great team player
