About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at eTeach UK Limited. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMHD) needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to develop and implement individualized education plans for pupils with SEMHD needs.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils in the classroom and outside of the classroom, as needed.
  • Assist with the planning and organization of learning activities, including preparing materials and resources.
  • Support pupils with their emotional and behavioral needs, using strategies to promote positive behavior and well-being.
  • Communicate effectively with pupils, teachers, and parents to ensure a smooth and supportive learning environment.
Requirements
  • Experience working with pupils with SEMHD needs, preferably in a school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, teachers, and parents.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Basic knowledge of child development and learning theories, with a willingness to learn and develop skills further.
