About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Morgan Ryder. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our 24-hour facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the maintenance and optimization of plant equipment to minimize downtime and maximize production.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues, collaborating closely with our production team to drive improvements in efficiency and reliability.
  • Develop and implement planned preventative maintenance strategies to proactively address potential issues.
  • Collaborate with our production team to drive improvements in efficiency and reliability.
  • Maintain detailed maintenance records and contribute to performance reporting to inform business decisions.
  • Champion health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements that boost productivity and reduce costs.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or a completed apprenticeship in Plant Maintenance.
  • Proven experience in a maintenance engineering role, with a strong track record of delivering results.
  • Expertise in both mechanical and electrical engineering, with a proven ability to tackle complex challenges.
  • Familiarity with PLC systems and automated machinery is highly desirable.
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to think on your feet and handle multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Flexibility to work 12-hour rotating shifts, covering both days and nights.
