We are currently seeking an experienced Instrumentation Business Development Manager to join our team in the South of Wales and parts of the South West. As a leading mechanical engineering supplier, we pride ourselves on our expertise and commitment to delivering high-quality products and services to our customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts within the instrumentation and flow control sector. This will involve working closely with various engineering departments to demonstrate and negotiate product sales, as well as maintaining relationships with OEM customers via distribution channels.

The ideal candidate will have experience selling or managing key accounts within a mechanical engineering environment related to instrumentation and flow control. They will also possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work remotely and travel to customer sites across the region.

Salary and Benefits: We offer a competitive salary of £40,000- £50,000 per annum, along with a range of benefits including a company car, bonus scheme, and 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new business opportunities and manage key accounts within the instrumentation and flow control sector.
  • Maintain relationships with OEM customers via distribution channels.
  • Demonstrate and negotiate product sales with various engineering departments.

Requirements:
  • Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, or similar within a mechanical engineering environment.
  • Experience selling mechanical engineering products / systems related to instrumentation and flow control.
  • Full clean driving license and willingness to travel to customer sites across the region.
