SEND Learning Support Assistant to Empower Students with Special Needs

Empowering Learning Ltd is seeking an outstanding Learning Support Assistant to join our team. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with students with special educational needs (SEND) to provide individualized support and empower them to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist students with physical needs, including personal care, manual handling, and therapy sessions.
- Support students with autism, PMLD, and physical disabilities in a primary and secondary school setting.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans.
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.
Requirements:
- Experience working with students with SEND, particularly autism and PMLD.
- Knowledge of manual handling, hoisting, PEG feeding, and Tube feeding.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
