Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Care Support Associate to join our team at Advance. As a key member of our support services, you will play a vital role in enabling individuals with disabilities and mental health conditions to live independently and achieve their personal goals.

About the Role:

  • To provide high-quality support services to customers with complex needs, including personal care, meal preparation, and social activities.
  • To maintain accurate records and update care plans as required, ensuring that customers receive the best possible support.
  • To work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners to deliver person-centred support that meets the unique needs of each customer.
  • To stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, participating in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in a relevant field (e.g., social work, psychology, nursing) or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Able to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Committed to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection principles.
