About the Role

This exciting opportunity has arisen within the Retail Performance & Insights Team at Nationwide, as part of our Shared Services. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering valuable data and BI solutions to unlock the society's ability to make data-driven decisions and deliver timely, impactful insights.

You will be part of a multi-skilled team responsible for solution design and delivery, acting as a centre of excellence core to improving our service and operations. We offer a hybrid working approach, bringing colleagues together across our UK-wide estate, while also supporting generous access to home working.

For this role, you will spend at least two days per week, or if part-time, 40% of your working time at our Swindon office. You can also find out more about our approach to hybrid working here.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver timely data and BI solutions, automating key processes and creating efficiencies.
  • Provide support and guidance to other team members or colleagues learning about the value of using data visualisation to generate insights across the Society.
  • Work as part of the Data and Automation team, learning and applying skills outside of your core discipline, getting involved in business analysis, engineering of data, and visualising data to achieve shared outcomes.
Requirements
  • Experience in developing solutions using BI Tools, Power BI, or Quicksight, or equivalent.
  • Experience of data mining and using either SQL, SAS, or equivalent.
  • Experience delivering solutions using Microsoft Power Solutions, Power Apps, Power Automate.
  • Ability to provide subject matter expertise to both internal and external stakeholders, translating complex data findings into insightful and actionable dashboards.
  • Be curious, innovative, creative, and agile, developing and championing new ideas, spotting opportunities, and learning fast along the way.
