About the Role
Framlingham Medical Practice is seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team. As an Advanced Care Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the on-the-day patient service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and triage patients, providing definitive treatment and making necessary referrals to other members of the primary care team.
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver effective patient care and support.
- Communicate complex and sensitive information effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Perform specialist health checks and undertake QOF investigations within your scope of practice.
- Support the delivery of anticipatory care plans and lead certain services, such as monitoring blood pressure and diabetes risk in elderly patients.

Qualifications
Essential
- Registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council as a paramedic.
- Postgraduate qualifications in Minor Injury/Illness and Prescribing (V300).
Desirable
- Postgraduate qualification in Advanced Patient Assessment.
Experience
Essential
- 5 years post-Paramedicine Degree.
- Experience in Triage and dealing with a range of clinical conditions.
Desirable
- Experience of working in a GP Practice and primary care.
