Nursery Management Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Nursery Manager to lead our Bright Horizons Poppetts Day Nursery and Preschool team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding care to all children in our setting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead our nursery teams to deliver high-quality care and education to children.
2. Drive employee engagement, retention, and performance in the nursery through inspirational leadership.
3. Work in partnership with Recruitment and HR to ensure the nursery is fully staffed and has a diverse workforce.
4. Role model and mentor the nursery team to ensure the highest quality early childhood practice and experience for all children.
5. Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead at the nursery, holding overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the nursery and management of safeguarding and child protection policies.

Requirements

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Experience within an Early Years leadership role, ideally as a Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager, or Assistant Manager.
• Experience of participating in a regulatory inspection, leading to a "Good" or "Outstanding" outcome.
• Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues, parents, and external partners.
