Aerospace NDT Specialist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Aerospace NDT Specialist to join our team at Morgan Jones Limited. As an NDT Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) using Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Dye Penetrant Inspection (DPI) on a wide range of aircraft components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct NDT inspections using MPI and DPI techniques.
  • Perform regular control checks to ensure consistent and reliable testing procedures.
  • Support the maintenance and function of plant equipment.
  • Assist with stock level monitoring of consumables.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with the SOP Engineer to develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure compliance with all EASA, FAA, and company quality standards.
Requirements:
  • EN4179 certification in NDT - MPI and DPI.
  • Proven experience in an NDT environment, preferably within the aerospace industry.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret manufacturers' overhaul and repair manuals.
  • GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English.
