Job Opportunity

School Staffing Solutions is recruiting a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at an independent special needs school in the New Forest area.

About the Role
  • This full-time position is available on a term-time only basis, Monday to Friday, with hours between 9 am and 3 pm (early finish on Fridays).
  • The successful candidate will be required to have their own transport due to the location, although the school is accessible by public transport from nearby towns.
  • The salary for this role is £19,500-£20,200 per annum when on contract, or £85-95 per day.

About You

  • You will need to hold GCSE Maths and English Level 4/Grade C, and ideally have previous experience supporting children and young people.
  • A strong ability to build rapport and positive relationships with young people is essential.
  • We are looking for someone who can demonstrate resilience, communication, organisation, and caring qualities.
