We are seeking an experienced Sanitation Specialist to join our team at Nexgen Group.

Estimated Salary: £12 per hour

About the Role:
  • This part-time position involves working Monday to Friday, from 17:00 to 19:00, for a total of 10 hours per week.
Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our static site in Basildon.

  • Cleaning surfaces, including walls, skirting boards, handrails, ledges, window sills, radiators, lifts, doors, and frames.
  • Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops.
  • Mopping floors with wet or damp mops.
  • Hovering of carpeted areas.
  • Emptying waste bins or similar receptacles and transporting waste material to designated collection points.
  • Mixing cleaning supplies in the correct quantities for safe use.
  • Replenishing consumable items such as soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels (if contractual).
  • Cleaning kitchens, toilets, urinals, hand basins, and sinks.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a cleaning environment is essential.
  • IT literacy, particularly the use of tablets and smartphone apps.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
