Job Title: Educational Healthcare Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Educational Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As an Educational Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) in a local school in Hillingdon.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the educational, health, and medical needs of children with SEN, following agreed Education and Health Care plans.
  • Assist with personal care, including toileting, hygiene, dressing, and feeding.
  • Physically assist children in activities, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Implement behaviour modification interventions to support children with emotional or mental health needs.
  • Work with students to improve punctuality, attendance, and ease their return to school after prolonged absence.
  • Collaborate with the SENCO, teaching, and senior staff to implement agreed interventions and programmes of work.

Requirements:

  • Child workforce only DBS on the Update Service.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Previous experience working with SEN.
