The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Farm Attendant at Huon Aquaculture Company Pty Ltd. As a key member of our Hideaway Bay zone, you will play a crucial role in supporting our feed trials and harvest team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with and supporting our feed trials and harvest team
  • Setting up, maintaining, and installing equipment, as well as conducting fish transfers
  • Assisting with feed trials, feeding fish, and maintaining feeding equipment
  • Conducting fish health checks, environmental monitoring, and predator activity monitoring
  • Providing support in other areas of the zone as required
About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A coxswain's license (desirable) and a valid driver's license (essential)
  • An eye for detail and the ability to work with tight deadlines
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a small team
  • Experience in Aquaculture, Marine Farming, or working on the water (desirable but not essential)
