The Opportunity
This role involves providing bath support to the Ronja Well-boats, assisting with other bathing operations, fish husbandry, and general pen maintenance.
As part of our Central Support Crew, you will also be required to assist with work on our zones and within Central Support as needed.
About You
To be successful, you will need to demonstrate:
- Planning and organisational skills
- A current driver's licence
- The ability to make sound and timely decisions and work with tight deadlines
- Good communication skills
- The ability to work as part of a small team
- Experience in Aquaculture, Marine Farming, or working on the water is desirable but not essential
You must be able to work a 7 days on, 7 days off roster. Due to the remote nature of our sites, you will be required to work from both our Hideaway Bay and Margate locations. A valid driver's licence is essential.
This role requires you to work safely and uphold Huon's Values. You will need to build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders. Knowledge of work health and safety regulations is preferred.
