About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse to join our team at Springwood Lodge in Guiseley. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the quality and management of nursing care and delivering clinical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and provide high-quality care and support to patients in a mental health setting
  • Support and supervise a team of nurses, promoting good teamwork and collaboration
  • Delegate nursing tasks and coordinate with other teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Monitor patients' conditions and respond to changes, making critical decisions regarding service user assignments and staff scheduling
  • Be a liaison between nursing staff and other healthcare professionals, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
Requirements
  • A relevant nursing qualification and NMC registration
  • A positive attitude and natural caring and compassionate approach
  • A commitment to high-quality care and evidence-based practice
  • Relevant experience in a similar environment and proven leadership skills
