Cybersecurity Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Operations Manager to join our team at Focus Cloud. In this role, you will be responsible for securing the infrastructure managing an immense quantity of data.

Main tasks include:

  • Supporting a complex technical environment centred around Microsoft solutions
  • Leading a team of security professionals and collaborating with them as part of a cohesive unit
  • Taking on escalated issues from other team members and providing guidance and support
  • Sharing knowledge and acting as a mentor for junior engineers
  • Solving complex technical issues
  • Establishing and optimizing operational processes to ensure seamless day-to-day operations
  • Collaborating with security teams to enhance threat detection, response, and monitoring capabilities
  • Developing and implementing security policies, protocols, and procedures to maintain a secure environment
  • Overseeing daily operations and ensuring that all security incidents and events are properly managed
  • Monitoring and analysing security systems to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities

Key technologies used in this role include:

  • Martin Michaelster cloud services
  • Azure
  • MicroSoft 365
  • Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS),
  • Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS),
  • Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools.

Certifications such as M365 endpoint Admin, AZ-500, SC-900, and SC-200 are highly desirable but not mandatory. This is a hybrid working opportunity with a minimum of 70% remote work required. The initial contract term is six months with the option to renew over the long term.
