Job Title: Teaching Assistant - EYFS

Prospero Teaching is seeking to recruit experienced and committed Teaching Assistants to work with the Tiny 2s in mainstream primary schools in Walsall.

Job Details:

  • Pay negotiable
  • Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm approx. (term time only)
Responsibilities:
  1. Work with the class teacher to support children when accessing the curriculum.
  2. Support the class teacher in the preparation of lessons.
  3. Support group activities and individuals.
  4. Support the children's well-being.
  5. Be proactive and flexible in supporting children's needs.
  6. Work closely with the other staff and maintain positive links between home and school by making parents feel welcome.
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 2 for Teaching Assistants (or recognised equivalent qualification)
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Two professional child-related references
