Join our team at Anchor and contribute to delivering a high-quality catering service to our residents. As a Catering Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring that all meals are prepared and served to the highest standards, while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals to a high standard, using fresh and seasonal ingredients.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety procedures.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to deliver a seamless service to our residents.
  • Escalate any concerns or issues to the Chef Manager or other relevant staff members.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 food safety certificate.
  • Health and safety procedures, including COSHH.
  • Previous catering experience, with knowledge of basic food safety and safe use of knives and kitchen equipment.
  • Experience of working with older people.
