Supply Chain Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Supply Chain Operations Specialist to join our Global Supply Chain Team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and improving supply continuity, quality, and cost as it relates to products and services. Key responsibilities will include processing purchase requisitions, reviewing PO variances, and participating in maximizing procurement team changes.
As a Supply Chain Operations Specialist, you will work closely with Engineers and Strategic Sourcing Managers to support procurement and vendor negotiations on lead-time and cost. You will also be responsible for managing and maintaining item master/organization attributes for assigned products and resolving accounts payable/receivable discrepancies.
Requirements for this role include a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Supply Chain, strong interpersonal skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office software (specifically Excel). Key Responsibilities:
- Process purchase requisitions, purchase change orders, and requests for quotes to suppliers
- Review PO variances to the plan; past due and aged unconfirmed orders providing resolution with the supply base
- Participate in maximizing the procurement team's changes, part parameters; quote table maintenance, supplier database information, error report analysis, and part number/supplier code information
- Recommend cost-saving proposals including alternative sourcing with approval of the team
- Work closely with Engineers & Strategic Sourcing Managers to support all procurement and vendor negotiations on lead-time and cost
- Process Returns to Vendor (RTV) for procured products and drive continual improvement with Supplier Quality team
- Manage and maintain item master/organization attributes for assigned products
- Resolve accounts payable/receivable discrepancies for any/items assigned
- Resolve delivery/receiving discrepancies for any/all items assigned
- Remain current on economic, industrial, and other trends that affect market and prices
- Support ERP integration activities and assist Project Manager with implementations
- Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) teams to represent Component Ops in the early stages of the development process
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business/Supply Chain
- Strong Interpersonal Skills
- Proven planning, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software (specifically Excel)
- Demonstrated analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
