Fraud Claims Investigator

Job Summary

Keoghs is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fraud Claims Investigator to join our Intelligence Team. As a Fraud Claims Investigator, you will play a critical role in identifying and investigating potential fraudulent insurance claims.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and add new suspected fraudulent insurance claims to our Keoghs Intelligence Database
  • Communicate with external organizations, such as insurers, to obtain information to assist with gathering intelligence on suspected fraudulent insurance claims
  • Assist Intelligence Analysts with progressing investigations and intelligence searches when necessary
  • Respond to incoming requests for information from external organizations
  • Identify key information from new files and manually enter data onto various internal databases
  • Make decisions on which enquiries to follow up and liaise with Intelligence Analysts and internal file handlers accordingly
  • Comply with service level agreements (SLAs) and internal policies and procedures
  • Prioritize your workload and maintain focus and commitment once sign-off has been achieved

Requirements

  • Pass in English & Maths GCSE or equivalent
  • IT literacy
  • Good telephone manner
  • Good communication skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail must be of a high standard, especially when dealing with repetitive tasks
  • Ability to prioritize and work on your own initiative
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and organize your workload
  • Commitment to learning and understanding processes and building a level of experience within the role

Working Hours

35 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm with 1 unpaid hour for lunch
