Position Overview
The Sparsholt is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at our charming 8-room barn hotel. The ideal candidate will ensure a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and tidy guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing linens and toiletries.
- Clean and maintain public areas of the hotel, such as lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Ensure all areas are cleaned and sanitized according to hotel standards.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the management promptly.
- Handle guest requests and inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and storing linens.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy linen bags.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays depending on requirement.
