We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our care home community, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our residents' living spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all allocated rooms, including furniture, fittings, and equipment, are cleaned to a high standard.
- Clean bathrooms and toilets, adhering to guidelines for the control of germs and infestation.
- Maintain a pleasant and odor-free environment for our residents.
- Be aware of and comply with our COSHH statement and health and safety regulations.
- Dispose of waste bags and recyclables in accordance with our environmental policies.
- Understand and adhere to the required care standards regulations governing your role.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of our residents and colleagues.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role or industry is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
