Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

Elevation Recruitment Group is working with a leading PLC business to find a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Mansfield.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on automated equipment
  • Carry out planned repairs and reactive repairs of automated material handling equipment
  • Fault-finding and diagnosis of mechanical and/or electrical faults
  • Respond to automation faults and breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime
  • Prioritize system faults and optimize uptime and availability of onsite automated equipment
  • Complete reports in line with requirements using CMMS and Microsoft software packages
  • Participate in the delivery, installation, commissioning, and testing of upgrades and enhancements
  • Ensure optimum levels of onsite spare parts are maintained
  • Support site meetings as required
  • Mentor, train, and advise junior members of the team

Requirements:

  • Mechanical or Electrical Qualification
  • Apprentice trained
  • Experience working with automated material handling systems
  • Ability to work at height
  • Capable of understanding Mechanical, Electrical, and/or Electronic technical manuals and drawings
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective time and workload management skills
