Production Supervisor

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our workshop team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality work, compliance, and time management, while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the workshop team to ensure quality work, compliance, and time management.
- Lead and inspire the team to deliver high-quality work and meet production targets.
- Maintain all production processes in line with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company safety, maintenance, and quality control procedures.
- Read engineering and fabrication drawings and work from own initiative.
- Experience in drilling, jigged, and un-jigged assembly to drawings and using power tools safely.
- Preferred experience in MIG/TIG welding fabricated parts in accordance with engineering drawings.
- Installation of insulated panels on commercial freezer bodies.
- Basic wiring knowledge of lights and fixtures on commercial vehicles.
- Carry out fabrication work as required, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
- Ensure good housekeeping in all work areas.
- Carry out other reasonable projects, tasks, or duties to support the business.
- Ensure good personal time keeping and conduct in line with agreed policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Health and safety and employee wellbeing are top priorities.
- Fabrication experience (1 year, preferred).
- Vehicle body assembly experience (1 year, preferred).
- MIG/TIG welding experience (1 year, preferred).
- Excellent understanding of the manufacturing process.
