The role of the Geospatial Project Coordinator is to oversee the technical execution of maritime and land-based surveys, ensuring accurate data collection for construction projects. The coordinator will maintain direct communication with construction and engineering departments, guaranteeing geometric control of site structures and installations.

Responsibilities:
  • Survey Management: Manage surveying activities for marine projects, adhering to regulatory standards.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise a team of surveyors, providing guidance, assigning tasks, and promoting collaboration.
  • Survey Planning: Develop survey plans, determining scope, objectives, and methods required for accurate data collection.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance processes to ensure consistent data collection.
  • Survey Techniques: Determine suitable surveying techniques, such as GPS, total stations, and laser scanning.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with surveyors, engineers, contractors, and other professionals to integrate survey data into construction processes.
  • Budget Management: Manage budgets, track expenses, and optimize resource allocation.
  • Safety Protocols: Enforce safety protocols during fieldwork, prioritizing team well-being and site personnel safety.

Salary estimate: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
