About Us

SMT GB is a dynamic and fast-paced company seeking a dedicated and organized MPC Support Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative support to the Maintenance and Project Control department, ensuring the smooth operation of processes and effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Document Management - Prepare documentation for machine arrivals and dispatches.
  • Logistics Coordination - Book machine and article deliveries into the Integrated Dealer Management System (IDMS) and related platforms.
  • Certificate Issuance - Issue required CE certifications from Immingham.
  • Case Management - Raise and close cases for monthly Machine Storage Inspections, resolving queries as needed.
  • Labour Data Entry - Post engineer labour data from PDA or manual timesheets into IDMS.
  • Team Support - Review, approve, or reject cases from other depots (team leader cover).
  • Notification of Delivery - Complete Notification of Delivery routine when machines are dispatched (colleague cover).
  • Administrative Tasks - Assist with administrative tasks such as bookings and statement submissions.
  • Document Upload - Upload documents to SMT safety databases (Q-Pulse, Quentic).
  • Team Leadership Support - Provide cover for the Team Leader and adhere to health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Additional Duties - Perform any additional duties as required by your manager.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Administrative Experience - Previous experience in an administrative role.
  • Organisational Skills - Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Software Proficiency - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Communication Skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Workload Management - Ability to manage and prioritise a diverse workload effectively.
  • Attention to Detail - Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
  • Project Management Software - Familiarity with project management software is a plus.
