We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Primary Tutor to join our team at Fleet Education Services. As a Primary Tutor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, one-to-one tuition to learners in their own homes or schools, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their academic potential.
Our learners may have complex needs, including special educational needs (SEN), social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, and childhood trauma. We are looking for a tutor who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people and has the skills and experience to support learners with diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, engaging tuition to learners in their own homes or schools.
- Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with learners' guardians/teachers to ensure their academic success.
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and learner performance through our virtual learning platform.
- Hold a Bachelor's level degree or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 6 months UK teaching/tutoring experience.
- Live and be eligible to work in the UK.
- Be willing to undertake a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and referencing process, as well as subscribing to the DBS Update Service.
- A commitment to safeguarding.
- Experience supporting students with SEN, SEMH, and other complex needs.
- Competitive weekly remuneration through PAYE.
- Control over your workload; flexible roles that fit around your existing commitments and availability with full-time equivalent hours available.
- Ongoing training opportunities that count towards your CPD and provide insight into working with SEN learners.
- A dedicated Tuition Consultant who will work closely with you to ensure you have as much work as you are able to fulfill, matching you to opportunities that meet your preferences.
