Graduate Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a vibrant secondary academy in West London.

The Role:

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to provide in-class support and lead small group interventions for students on the SEND register. You will be part of a highly supportive team that caters to students with ASD.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide academic support to students in a classroom setting
  • Lead small group interventions for targeted students
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with students and adults
  • Organize and maintain accurate records of student progress
  • Support students with special educational needs
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications and experience working with young people in education or related sectors
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and adults
  • Willingness to specialize in specific areas, such as SLCN, ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and EAL
