Job Summary

Jardine Motors Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Master Technician to join our team at our Tunbridge Wells BMW/MINI Dealership.

About the Role

As a Master Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service and repair of BMW and MINI vehicles, in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform all work assigned in a timely manner, economically and to Company and Manufacturer's standards
  • Advise the Workshop Supervisor if additional work is required on a vehicle and seek their assistance and authority in the rectification of faults
  • Maintain a high level of competence for the work to be undertaken by undergoing on-site training, attending courses at suppliers and manufacturer's and reading technical bulletins as required
  • Discuss with customers, problems with the vehicle as requested (Total Involvement)
  • Ensure the Company image of professionalism and quality of service is maintained when dealing with customers
  • Operate equipment and carry out all duties in a safe manner
  • Assist management with the introduction of new methods of work designed to improve efficiency

Requirements

  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
  • Previous experience within a main dealer is desirable although not essential
  • Master Technician accreditation or equivalent
