Job Description
  • As a Principal Cost Consultant - Contract Services, you will be responsible for conducting feasibility studies, writing procurement reports, and applying Value Management techniques to drive project success.
  • You will manage estimating and cost planning activities, including creating and presenting final cost plans, and lead the procurement process from pre-qualification to contract preparation.
  • Your role will involve managing tender processes for MEP packages, ensuring effective cost checking and valuation work, and producing monthly post-contract cost reports for clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management/Engineering or equivalent, with minimum 10-15 years' experience in related fields.
  • Excellent technical knowledge and experience across full range of Cost Management duties, including Cost Estimates, Bills of Quantities, Value Engineering, Tendering and Evaluation, Contract Knowledge, Change Orders, and Final Account close-out.
  • Candidates with commercial, corporate, and high-tech experience, as well as background in consultancy and MEP work, are preferred.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and ability to negotiate, influence, and persuade others.
