Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Lorien, a leading organization in the UK's building society sector. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex infrastructure projects and lead the way in shaping our technology stack.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring seamless integration with our architecture department.
  • Provide expert guidance on Microsoft Windows Server technologies, Active Directory architecture, and Azure IaaS services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions, leveraging your expertise in regulated environments.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and engagement.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Lead/Principal Infrastructure Engineer, with a strong track record of advising on complex project upgrades and fault remediation.
  • Expert-level configuration and architecture experience of Microsoft Windows Server technologies.
  • Deep understanding of Active Directory architecture, including EntraID and on-premise solutions.
  • Good knowledge of Azure IaaS services, with some understanding of AWS also beneficial.
  • Ability to work at scale, preferably within regulated environments, and excellent stakeholder engagement capabilities.
