About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Technical Instructor/Assistant Practitioner to join our team at Lancashire Care Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists to provide high-quality care to patients in their own homes and community settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists in the delivery of rehabilitation services
  • Conduct non-complex assessments and develop treatment plans under the direction of therapists
  • Work autonomously and as part of a team to achieve patient-centered outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Requirements
  • Assistant Practitioner qualification or equivalent
  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent
  • Evidence of continued professional development
  • Knowledge of long-term conditions, mental illness, and disability
  • Experience of rehabilitation in the community
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
