Job Title: Senior Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team at Willing Care. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Occupational Therapist to work with patients with a variety of neuro-rehabilitation and acquired brain injury needs. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients with complex needs and develop tailored treatment plans to support their rehabilitation goals.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic support for patients and promote their independence in daily activities.
  • Provide expert therapeutic interventions and modalities to improve patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records.
  • Contribute to the professional development of junior staff and participate in team meetings and case reviews.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Experience in the UK at band 6 level or above.
  • HPCP (Health and Care Professions Council) registration.
  • Proven experience in neuro-rehabilitation and acquired brain injury is preferable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
