Senior Project Manager

VANRATH is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team in Newry, Northern Ireland. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing water infrastructure and wastewater projects from initiation to completion.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with experience in managing projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage client relationships and service delivery
  • Ensure contract governance and successful delivery at all levels
  • Motivate and manage staff performance
  • Provide professional delivery of contract
  • Manage resources for the Contract
  • Carry out change control procedures on projects
  • Issue Early Warning Notices as required
  • Acknowledge and act upon compensation events
  • Ensure contract administration and management team are replying to client queries in a professional, timely and accurate manner
  • Lead service delivery ensuring appropriate methods are used in conjunction with maximum operational efficiency
Requirements
  • Degree qualified or other relevant qualifications
  • Knowledge of Contracts - NEC form of contract
  • Track record working on water infrastructure / wastewater projects
  • Extensive Management experience at senior level
  • Strong IT skills (Excel/Word/Outlook)
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Good communication and organisational skills
