About the Role

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all contract activities, ensuring contract governance, and delivering successful outcomes at all levels. This role will focus on Water Infrastructure/Wastewater projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage client relationships and service delivery
  • Ensure contract attainment of Green KPIs
  • Motivate and manage staff performance
  • Provide professional delivery of contract
  • Manage resources for the Contract
  • Carry out change control procedures on projects
  • Issue Early Warning Notices and attend Risk Reduction Meetings
  • Acknowledge and act upon compensation events
  • Ensure contract administration and management team respond to client queries
  • Lead service delivery, ensuring operational efficiency
  • Support and lead management and administrative team in effective delivery
  • Provide monthly contract reports to Directors
  • Attend internal meetings with Contract Manager to report on contract
  • Attend client meetings
  • Review organizational structure to deliver services in line with business priorities
  • Ensure corporate and contractual governance
  • Financial budgetary and full P&L understanding on the contract
  • Prepare root cause analysis on risk incidents and action plan management
  • Hold daily internal meetings with contract management and administrative team
  • Ensure Event Control Screens are maintained
  • Acknowledge and act upon training requirements
  • Suggest and implement contract improvements
About the Ideal Person

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team at VanRath. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Degree-qualified or other relevant qualifications
  • Knowledge of Contracts - NEC form of contract
  • Track record working on water infrastructure/wastewater projects
  • Experience of Compensation events and adjudication processes
  • Extensive management experience at senior level
  • Understanding of construction processes and methodology
  • Strong IT skills (Excel/Word/Outlook)
  • Ability to work on own initiative and methodically
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to take on new skills and continuous improvement processes
