Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Highway Maintenance Engineer. Based out of our West Hyde site near Rickmansworth, this role will involve safely operating vehicles and equipment, installing, maintaining, and removing high-speed traffic management systems on motorways and high-speed dual carriageways.

About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our teams have the necessary equipment to carry out their essential repair and maintenance work. This is a varied role that may require travel throughout the country, visiting multiple locations in one day. Flexibility is essential, as the role may include some night-time and weekend working.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a full and valid UK driving licence, as well as an IPV ticket. Excellent communication skills and a 'can-do' attitude are also essential. Working in and on highways can be hazardous, so it's crucial that you understand the importance of safe working practices and do not take risks or shortcuts.
