Job Description:

  1. Assist the farming team with various tasks, including contract farming agreements, farm business issues, financial monitoring, technical advice, environmental matters, and client relationships.
  2. Work closely with experienced professionals to develop your skills and expertise in agriculture, finance, and business management.

Responsibilities:

  • Contract Farming Agreements: Negotiate and manage contracts with farmers, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Farm Business Issues: Provide expert advice on joint ventures, change of use, rent reviews, expansions, and succession planning.
  • Financial Monitoring: Analyze financial data, prepare budgets, and cash flow forecasts to inform business decisions.
  • Technical Advice: Offer guidance on mainstream arable and livestock enterprises, including crop management and animal husbandry.
  • Environmental Matters: Advise clients on environmental issues, such as sustainability and biodiversity, and implement strategies to improve their environmental footprint.
  • Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.

Requirements:

  • University Degree: A degree in Agriculture, Business, or a related field is essential.
  • Excellent Research and Analytical Skills: Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • IT Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and other relevant software applications.
  • Practical Experience: Previous experience in farming or a related industry is advantageous.

Benefits:
