We are a child-centred company committed to transforming the lives of vulnerable young people in Dorset. We are seeking a skilled SEN / SEND tutor to join our team.

Job Description

We require a qualified SEN / SEND teacher who can provide flexible and holistic trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs.

  • Plan engaging sessions that meet the young person's needs
  • Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or other Additional Educational Needs
  • Complete lesson reports and provide feedback on the young person's progress
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Professional Teaching Qualification (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience
  • Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and / or other Additional Educational Needs
  • Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
  • Two professional references
