Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Statutory Accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Limited Companies is a critical aspect of this role, requiring attention to detail and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
  • A strong background in preparing Personal Tax returns and Corporation & Self-Assessment Tax Returns, along with submission to HMRC, is essential.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for general Bookkeeping duties, preparation of VAT returns for clients, and regular use of cloud-based accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience working in an accountancy practice is mandatory, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks, Xero, and Sage is desirable but not essential.
  • The ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative is crucial, along with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
