We are seeking a Lead Social Care Professional to join our team in Southwest. As a key member of the Mental Health team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing a team of social care professionals.

The successful candidate will have experience managing a team within adult social care, with a good understanding of the Care Act and MCA. They will also possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to provide effective management oversight and support to junior managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Management and oversight of a multidisciplinary team of social care professionals within the Mental Health team
  • Overseeing the services that operate within the Local Authority
  • Cost-efficient creation of packages of care
  • Performance management of the team

The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and be able to prioritize tasks effectively.

Estimated Salary: £130,000 - £150,000 per annum (based on 30 days per month at £325-375 per day)
