Job Description

The Role:


Provide first-line support to all areas of Supply Chain and Customer Services, ensuring seamless process execution.


Review and approve Design and Assembly drawings, guaranteeing accuracy and compliance.


Translate design information from drawings into SAP Material Master Data, Bills of Materials, and Routings, streamlining production processes.


Prepare assembly instruction documents detailing the production process from design drawings and initial production builds, enhancing efficiency and quality.


Lead the resolution of technical issues, material, tooling, and instructions to all Production and Warehouse areas, promoting a culture of excellence.


Collaborate with the Reliability team to support Facilities activities, including issue resolution and updating site layouts/P&ID's, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.


Emphasize safety, promoting a culture of Think safe, work safe, initiate safe, and lead by example on all aspects of safety.


Conduct risk assessments and reviews of safety in all SOPs, projects, and day-to-day support of the plant, ensuring a proactive approach to safety.


Support the plant manager on Safety projects and initiatives within the organization, driving continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications/Skills:


At least 3 years' experience in Production, process, industrial engineering function.


Knowledge of ERP systems, including BOMs, Routings, and Master data.


In-depth knowledge of TPM/Lean principles and the analysis of production processes (kaizen), with experience from a TPM/Lean embedded company.


Good understanding of NPI and gated processes.


Ability to manage projects and project teams across multiple disciplines.


Proficiency in compiling shop floor process instructions and safe working procedures.


Ability to work under own initiative.


High standard of numeracy and literacy.


Flexibility with working hours/shift at short notice.


Effective communication and presentation of data.

Proficiencies:


Essential: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Experience using ERP/MRP systems.


Preferred: SAP, DDM (Design Data Manager), eQMS, and AutoCAD.


Experience in CAPA and route cause analysis.


Eagerness to take on new skills and experiences, and to learn quickly.


World Class manufacturing and TPM experience.


NVQ level 4, HNC or equivalent in Electromechanical engineering.
