About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant in a secondary setting. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of our pupils.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide individualized support to pupils, promoting their learning and well-being
- Assist teachers with lesson planning and classroom preparation
- Supervise pupils during non-classroom activities, including extra-curricular events and school trips
- Develop positive relationships with pupils, driving interaction and positive learning outcomes

Requirements

- A strong basic education, ideally to A-level, with a minimum of GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English Language and Mathematics
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as a Teaching Assistant
- Some experience of working with pupils with SEMH in an educational setting
- Ability to take additional responsibility in areas of the school, such as food hygiene, forest school, or lunchtime supervision
- Commitment to professional development and willingness to learn
