Job Title: Education Support Assistant

Location: Leeds

Contract Type: Part-time

Hours: 10am-12pm

Salary: £25-£35 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Education Support Assistant to join our team at Connex Education in Leeds. This role involves working closely with our Tutor to enhance the learning experience and provide individualised support to a pupil in a residential setting. SEMH experience is desirable but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist our Tutor in delivering lessons and managing activities.
  • Provide one-on-one support to the pupil as needed.
  • Help in preparing lesson materials and resources.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with young people in an educational setting is preferred.
  • SEMH/SEN experience desirable but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for education and helping students succeed.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Teaching Assistant Certificate) are a plus.
