Nurseplus UK Ltd is seeking a caring and empathetic individual to join our team as a Companionship and Support Professional. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality care and companionship to individuals in their own homes or in residential settings.
Responsibilities- Providing emotional support and companionship to service users
- Supporting service users with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Assisting with safe movement and handling of service users
- Administering medication as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Documenting care plans and progress
- Flexible working hours to suit your lifestyle
- Competitive pay rates from £15.50 per hour (£13.50 + annual pay review)
- Free training - In line with the Care Certificate
- Ongoing support and further development opportunities
- Eligibility to apply for a Blue Light card
- You must be over 18 to apply
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Flexibility on travel - some shifts may require you to drive or have access to public transport
- A good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively
- An enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration (Cost of which £56)
