Pay: £14.18 hourly

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Teaching Assistant to join our team at a 'good' primary school.

  • Support KS1 Mornings: Assist children with varying educational needs during classroom activities.
  • Transition to KS2 Afternoons: Provide tailored support where needed and help facilitate a positive learning environment.
  • SEN Support: Utilise SEN experience to provide specific support to students with additional needs, ensuring they are integrated and engaged in learning.
  • Classroom Preparation: Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and classroom setup to create an organised and effective learning space.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous Experience: Holding a Teaching Assistant role, particularly with SEN responsibilities.
  • Education Framework: Strong understanding of the educational framework for KS1 and KS2.
  • Patient Approach: A patient, caring, and professional approach to supporting children with diverse educational needs.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to tasks.
  • Ongoing Development: Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
