Employability Specialist Advisor

Job Type - Full Time - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Location - Stockport

We are seeking an experienced Employability Specialist Advisor to join our team at Ingeus. As an Employability Specialist Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with complex barriers to employment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized support to clients to help them achieve their employment goals
  • Conduct assessments to identify clients' needs and develop tailored support plans
  • Work closely with clients to help them overcome barriers to employment, such as lack of skills or experience
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as job coaches and employment advisors, to ensure clients receive comprehensive support
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of support plans and make adjustments as needed

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a social services or employment support setting
  • Strong understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with complex barriers to employment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
