About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Sammons Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out planned maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure production processes are safe and effective.
  2. Conduct fault-finding and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues with electrical systems and equipment.
  3. Assist other departments as required to ensure production requirements are met.
  4. Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies to ensure optimal performance.
  5. Fabricate repair parts as needed.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  2. Strong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment maintenance.
  3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  4. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
  5. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  6. Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
  7. Self-starter with ability to work independently under pressure and react quickly to changing priorities.
  8. Troubleshooting skills and problem-solving.
  9. Able to work in selected teams and coordinate solutions.
  10. Good analytic, planning, and organisational skills.
  11. Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English (oral & written).
